Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the ManMax app ("we", "us"). By using ManMax you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What ManMax is

ManMax gives grooming, skincare, style and lifestyle guidance for men: an on-device face-shape analysis, AI scans with ratings and explanations, a personalised routine, an AI coach and a library of guides.

It is not medical advice. Scores and suggestions are general information and opinions generated by software, not a diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a doctor or dermatologist about any medical, skin or mental-health concern, before starting supplements, and before any procedure. Ratings are subjective and are not a measure of your worth.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use ManMax and at least 18 to use AI face scans. You must only upload photos of yourself.

3. Your account

You can use ManMax without signing in; your data is then tied to this install and may be lost if you delete the app. Signing in with Apple or Google keeps it on your account. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Photos & data.

4. ManMax Pro subscriptions

• ManMax Pro is available as a weekly or monthly subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. There is no free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your ManMax account does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can't issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
• Pro includes the limits shown on the paywall (for example AI scans per week and coach messages per day). Failed AI scans don't count against your weekly scans. We may change features or limits for future billing periods and will show any change in the app before it applies to you.

5. Acceptable use

Don't upload photos of other people, minors, nudity or anything illegal; don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service or get around its limits; don't use the coach to produce harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and messages you submit. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you (including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy). Scan photos are deleted after 30 days.

7. AI output

AI results and coach replies can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent between scans. Use your own judgement and don't rely on them for health decisions.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep ManMax available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features. We may update these terms; we'll show the new effective date and tell you in the app about significant changes.

9. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, ManMax is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision you make based on the app's content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

10. Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded ManMax from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance; Apple isn't responsible for claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
